On Saturday, come join Eye Wander Photo's founder Aaron Hogan for a full-day New Orleans photography workshop featuring instruction on composition and camera settings for street photography and the use of off-camera lighting as well as posing tips.

Passionate & fun wedding/portrait photographer Aaron Hogan of Eye Wander Photo in Baton Rouge is teaching an intense one-day Intermediate level Lighting photo workshop for those seeking to fine tune their photography skills.

You must already have a working knowledge of shooting in Manual exposure mode and must own a telephoto lens 50mm or longer. It is not required but is ideal to own a 70-200mm or 85mm focal length.

The registration fee is $695student. $50 Early discount available BEFORE May 1st, 2023

WHAT TO BRING:

Required Equipment

  • Digital SLR camera made 2012 or later.
  • Lenses:
    • Wide/standard zoom 18-55mm range
    • Long zoom 70-200mm range (some variation of this)
  • Laptop made after 2012 (running at least Windows 8 or Mac OS X 10.11)
  • Extra camera batteries (at least 2, ideally 3)
  • On-camera flash with wireless trigger
  • Light stand for flash

Optional Equipment

  • 35mm, 50mm, or 85mm prime lens with aperture of 2.8 or better (1.8 ideal)
  • 70-200mm f/2.8
  • Reflector
  • Travel tripod
